iPhone Possible to Unlock iPhone 5 UK?

Is it possible to unlock a UK iPhone without going via carrier as the phone cannot be unlocked for another month and it needs to be unlocked ASAP, I know with the previous ones you could jailbreak and then unlock but what about the iPhone 5?
