Honest questions:
WHAT are you going to store on it that requires that much space?
If it's stuff that won't be accessed very often, have you considered an EXTERNAL drive instead?

I have about 2TB of Home movies that I would like to keep on the main computer but guess I could store them on an external.

It doesn't make sense, financially (meaning the amount of $$$ you'll spend to put a big drive inside) to store stuff like this on the internal drive.

Get an EXTERNAL drive on which to store it. A platter-based drive will do fine.
In fact, get TWO of them.
One as the "primary storage" drive.
And the second as a cloned backup of the primary drive.
