Possible weird charging behaviour

I got my new iPad Pro 10.5" on launch day so nearly 2 weeks ago and recently, like the last 3 charges have seemed odd, like the iPad is jumping multiple percentage while charging. Now, this could be just me but never noticed this sort of behaviour on other iOS devices before. I'm using the included 12W charger.

Today, I put the iPad on the charger at 9.20pm at 30%. I checked on it at 10.50pm which showed it was at 70%. This seems normal to me. I again checked on it at 11.30pm at which time it showed 91% (again seems fine). Now, I then checked it again at 11.45pm which it showed was at 100%. Does this seem normal?

I don't have exact times for other recent previous charges but I do believe it's charged abnormally quickly in shortish periods of time. I'll continue to report back.

Anyone noticed anything similar?

I have a couple Air 2s and based on what you wrote your charging seems fine.

(I have noticed with iOS 10 the reported percentage is a bit crazy when first plugging them in. It might be at 27% and when I connect power it immediately jumps to 31%, for example. But total charging and discharging times are normal.)

Your charge times sound very typical. What do you find strange about the charge rate going from 70% to 91% and then 100% over an hour?

It's more the 91% to 100% in 15 mins here that seemed strange to me in this charge. As I say it may just be me, and I'll monitor the next few charges, but my previous iPad's didn't charge as much (91% to 100%) in 15 mins, always took longer.

If this is normal then fantastic - it charges faster than the previous iPad Pro, despite having a larger battery, while charging on the same Wattage of charger (12W).

I'd say watch it and if you notice it jump while activly watching it then I'd say it's probably a software issue. I've had that before and it needed a clean install to fix the issue.
