This was a good idea, OP! I feel sorry for out cams though, staring at nothing I'm on my iPhone now so I don't really have anything to show, but most of the time my Phone's "webcam" stares at my beautiful face

I think he refers to it being creepy because we are seeing pictures of places where there's usually someone, and now there is no one. It is kind of creepy, scary actually to stare not at something specifically, just at a space where there should be a person but there is none. The fact that the pictures are not of the highest quality, not the most well light pictures and kind of grainy adds to the scare factor. At least that's what I think the poster was talking about.

This picture in particular is as if someone is about to pop out from behind the couch.
