I did a quick search and came up empty handed, so point me in the right direction if I missed something...

I'm considering going without my Invisible Shield. My 1st Gen iPhone was completely naked all the time, but I bought the invisible shield for my 3g. I'm curious to see how they're weathering.

So, post a picture of your iphone (ESP the 3g) if you run it naked. Also include how long you've had your iPhone, and any other details (do you have a dedicated pant pocket for your phone??)

Hmm, I cant take a picture of my iPhone, seeing as its my only camera, however I can tell you that my phone is 100% nakie, no Zagg or anything. The screen has 1 scratch on it from IDK where, but its whatever, but my bezel is perfect, I have no hairline cracks, and I keep it in the case in the attachment, on my left side, on my belt, or if I dont like the area im in and fear it could be stolen or a red flag to be stolen, I put it in my pocket.

I love it and couldnt be happier with a phone.

Oh, and its a 3Gs, and Ive had it since launch day.

If it goes in a pocket, it usually ends up in the left one.

I had a naked first gen, that took quite a beating, the aluminum looked beat to hell.
the screen fared pretty well, no obvious scratches

I also had a naked 3g, that sustained no noticeable scratches in a good 3 months of use

though I've heard if you have a white iPhone, you'll need something to protect it, it shows dirt and scratches much more than the black

I do have the white... I'm an apple "purist" i guess

I ripped the invisibile shield off sunday. Boy, it's nice being naked... although you appreciate the way the IS prevents fingerprints...

Actually, scratches are more noticeable on the black iPhone. And it doesn't get dirty, it's glossy plastic...
