you have to make invisible icons for ur calculator and other apps then place them where the wallpaper icon is so when u hit the calculator (or other app) it actually clicks the invisible calculator and opens it up. make sense?
My own mix of themes. I picked and chose from stuff that i liked. Yeah i know, it looks throw together but i like it. Thats what customizing is about. Personalizing.
Originally had glasorbs for those 4 icons but recently added the original orbs versions for 3 of them to add a little more color.

You should try jailbreaking again. Winterboard in 2.2 works a lot better. The slowdown you experienced with 2.1 is not there with 2.2. It's not perfect, but it's not nearly as bad as it was with 2.1.
I've read many forum posts here and on other sites that talk about how things are working better now.
Do you have a link for the those icons? I'm using glass orbs, but I love your Camera and Cycorder icons!

I've already jailbroken, but I haven't loaded Winterboard just yet.
What is everyone else's experience? Has it really sped up? If it slows down again, is it just as simple as uninstalling Winterboard to get it back in shape? I'm really leaning toward just using SSH to manually modify my themes.

Those icons with the exception of the calendar icon are just part of the original ORBS theme. I stuck with the glassorbs calendar because orbs had a square top and round bottom and it would just throw off the 4 icons. The only difference in the cycorder icon was reversed black/white but i felt like it added more color anyway.
Just download the original orbs theme and pull those .png's from the icons folder. Thats how i did it. If you need me to i can just link them once i get home later tonight. Let me know.

I did find them eventually, thanks. Took me a while, the damn fools decided to be clever and spell it ORBZ, and apparently I wasn't clever enough to realize it at first.

haha i guess it would have been helpful to have correctly spelled the name in the first place. The touch of color is exactly why i swapped a few over. Actually i like the entire ORBZ theme but went with glassorbs with my previous background to allow more of the background to show through until i moved them all to the 2nd page of the springboard.
