Please post temps here, My MBP seems A LOT warmer now after I reinstalled OSX

I am using the iStat Pro from iSlayer.com

CPU: 61C
GPU Diode: 66C
GPU Heatsink: 58C
Heatsink A: 57C
Heatsink B: 46C
Enclosure Bottom: 36C

Fans are bout 2000 RPM

I am using wifi and listening to music on iTunes, so not very CPU intensive at all.

CPU A: 41C
GPU Diode: 45C
GPU Heatsink: 42C
Heatsink A: 40C
Heatsink B: 36C
Enclosure Bottom: 32C

Not doing anything particularly much right now, just surfing the intertubes and returning some email. I keep my fans at 4000rpm when I'm pulled into an outlet (currently) and at 2500rpm on batteries.

I haven't noticed any overheating issues.

Edit: Except when booted into WinXP, but that's understandable.

:apple:

GPU Heatsink: 44C

Mine too seems much cooler than my previous one...

My CPU is being a lot hotter.. What RPM are both of your fans running at?

CPU A: 122F/50C
GPU Diode: 133F/56.1C
GPU Heatsink: 122F/50C
Heatsink A: 122F/50C
Heatsink B: 108F/42.2C
Enclosure Bottom: 90F/32.2C

Left and right fans running at 2000RPM

If it looks too hot, please bear in mind that I just played Civ 4.

I load tested a SR MBP at a local Apple store, running 3 quicktime videos and one Final Cut Pro demo video to fully load the CPU (and GPU). Monitored the temp with istat. The MBP was on a flat display table and the store was your usual mall room temp.

The CPU ran between 82-91C, averaging about 84C. Really high. Has anyone else seen this? Has anyone opened a new MBP up to inspect the thermal paste application? Would the Apple Store exchange a brand-new MBP for a new one, if running at 85C or higher was its only problem? I am worried about buying a new MBP now, because of heat. The new T61 Thinkpad is supposed to run cool.

Today I bought the NotePal by Cooler Master and I just wanted to test the temperature difference it made. In a warm but bareable office environment computing w/ iTunes it ran at the below mentioned temperature. (obviously the higher one, also it's warm because the don't circulate as much air on the weekends so i'm assuming it's a few degree's hotter than 75F) After about 10 min with the NotePal it ran and the below mentioned cooler temperature. IMO, pretty substational.
