Nice! I would sooo pay to have one of those (and connected) today. I don't mind that in jest either. That phone is hot. in a retro style.
I think I still have it somewhere. It truly is a beauty.

NMT was great. As a kid we were able to listen in to other peoples calls with just cheap toy walkie-talkie. It was the magic eighties.

Funny, that was my first phone too.

Next was the Sanyo SCP-4500
then the Sanyo SCP-8100
then the Motorola RAZR

next will be the iPhone!

LOL we have a very similar purchase history -- two exact matches plus a close match, and the same number of phones so far. :p

I wonder, not that I question anyone's right to purchase as many cell phones as they need, but ... for all of you who've owned a lot of phones (e.g. on average changing 1x/yr or more often, as opposed to changing once every 2-3 years)....

- Did you have to pay a lot of termination fees or did you have pretty good luck with that?

- Did you resell or hopefully at least recycle all those phones?

My best friend has had twice as many cell phones as me, in the same time period, because he constantly breaks them. But he's just a monkey klutz. :p

hey my first fone was a 5110! soon, i will post the history of all phones that i've had...

That makes three that I've seen so far. For one of the most popular (the most popular?) phone of all time, that isn't much. If I could get one right now that would work on Cingular's network, I would....I think I'll be checking eBay as soon as I get home from work (stupid websense).

OH yeah I had a Nokia 5110, but I am pretty sure I had a phone before that. Maybe a NEC on verzion, it was pay as you go.

My first phone was the Nokia 3390 prepaid on cingular. Then I switched to T-mobile and had the Nokia 3650 after that I went to sprint got the Sanyo SCP-8400 then upgraded to the Samsung sph-a900 metal version then had the plastic version then upgraded to the a900m and now I'm back where I started on cingular with the most amazing phone ever the Iphone!! Woo yea!!!

Some of you probably wouldn't know how to use my first phone.
