Post your Apple leather link!

I was going to post my Midnight Leather Link today but Apple decided to send me a Nike sport band instead. This is the second time I have received the wrong band when ordering from them. The good news is I get to keep the other band for free, the bad news is the band I ordered won’t be here until next Tuesday.

I understand how it works but the general fit, for me at least, doesn't fit well. I've always been a M/L strap person so I ordered the Midnight Leather Link and waited patiently for a few days. But after it arrived and I locked the lugs in, to my surprise the M/L length WAS TOO BIG. So I get the S/M strap and while it fits better - lengthwise - it still feels loose to me.

I get about 4 free lugs but it's still a bit loose and I can't get the magnets to lock any closer. Is this how it's suppose to fit? It feels too loose and I've been trying all night to make it tighter. But on the premise of just grabbing and going and locking into place, its "default" connection is FAR TOO loose and when I do it myself getting the 4 lugs, IT TAKES SO LONG.
 
Ordered and received the midnight today. Just not a fan of how blue it looks. Wanted black. Returning

I have a Baltic Blue leather link that I got for my ooooold 42mm Series 2 watch to match my iphone 12 leather swag at the time - but I barely wore it because that watch was not super useful to me at the time so it is in great condition.

Now, I upgraded myself to a new 41mm Series 7 so I of course downgraded my size and band compatibility and I'm wondering, probably a longshot, but does anybody know if there are sites/groups of any sort where people might be seeking to do band exchanges especially with the size changes that took place?

Obviously this was my own doing for downgrading my model size vs getting the bigger watch again, but just curious. i expect that i have no choice but to just let it hang out on my old watch for display and buy a new link when i want one :) just want to check

thank you!! and to be clear per forum policies - not trying to sell it or anything like that, just curious if the leather link aficionados here know if anything like this exists
 
I'm thinking of getting a midnight leather link for the midnight S7. I heard they are very delicate and wear out fast.

How are your leather links holding up after a couple of months of use?

Went to Apple store to switch to S/M band and now it fits perfectly on my wrist!

Here’s my Midnight leather link. I went for the S/M size and have 10 magnetic pills overlapping for a loose comfort fit. Snug fit it’s 11 magnetic pills. Is this ok for fitting or do I need to go to the M/L size to get more magnetic pills overlapping?

By the way the colour match with my Midnight S7 is perfect! Loving the combo. Let’s hope the band lasts as it will be my daily for office and casual wear. Will use the sport band for working out.

I have the S/M on my 45mm S7, overlapping 9 pills and it is a secure fit. Wraps around the bottom of my arm, so it Is not catching desk or laptop when working.
bought a M/L initially, but that made the end come up to the Watch lug … looked silly and was not very comfortable to wear.
This is my new Series 7 45mm SSG with the miding leather link

I can’t find a saddle brown leather link 44mm for purchase anywhere. Anyone know of any around still?

Bought a S7 Graphite with the midnight leather link and it’s become one of my favorite bands. Want a saddle brown now.

This had been my experience too. I bought sequoia green in s/m and it’s a struggle to get the band to fit snug on my wrist. It feels like my stainless steel apple watch is a bit heavy for the band and so I wonder if the leather link works better with the aluminum Apple Watch Since it’s lighter? also, the magnets tend to shift when I move about so it feels like my watch is sending me a tap notification. That said, I’m on the fence about keeping it.
 
Okay. Leather band newbie here! Went for Golden Brown for the 40 mm in M/L. The S/M I tried at the store only overlapped 5 or 6 pillars and it felt somewhat insecure. The M/L is wonderful. Adjusts just right. So far so good. Very comfy!

That’s where I saw the chalk. I’ve seen several places with new m/l, but I can’t wear that size. I absolutely love that brown.

You inspired me to get the saddle brown before they disappear for good. I need to stay away from MacRumors because it is costing me too much money lol. So far just from reading the forums, I have purchased the charcoal Milanese SS loop, the midnight leather link and now the saddle brown leather link. In between those purchases I ordered silver SS loop and black SS loop from Amazon and a leather link from Ebay. The imitation bands just have a cheap look and feel to them. What should I look into getting next?
