Let's see your coding environments (sexy or not). I use TextMate and this is a screenshot of my latest not-for-profit venture, which is learning the Ruby language (on screen is an interactive poker game that only took about 6 hours with this fabulous language). The font is Inconsolata and the theme is CoolGlow with 87% opacity over the earth desktop that comes with Leopard. This transparency only works for me because I don't use the desktop as a storage space, and I changed the defaults to not show any volumes (can't remember now...something in com.apple.finder no doubt).

I love to see other user's desktop environments...it's like a little piece of our souls, man.

2560 x 1600 (The only way to experience the full deliciousness that is the Inconsolata font).

Spaces view 1600x1000. Mail, Adium in one space, Firefox in one space, iTunes in one space, and TextMate in one space.

I used http://www.freeimagehosting.net to host the pictures, and they didn't even make me sign up for an account.

Here's mine:

I have Xcode and related stuff set to space '2' and sometimes have other stuff co-mingled in there. I keep a lot of URLs in the dock for quick access. I use terminal for compiling MXML files for Flex (Flash app) stuff, top and sometimes killing processes that just won't die. Also Console since it shows all kinds of stuff outside of Xcode's own Console, plus Crash logs.

I also have a physical calculator on the desk that has a HEX conversion function. Its a Radio Shack "Programmer's" calculator #EC-4075, that also has a clock, calendar and alarm function for some reason.

I found it in my dad's semi-private office when we were clearing it out after his business closed down a few years ago, so I kept it (along with the war penny I found, too).

That free hosting thing scaled mine, so here's a bigger one.

I have a partitioned disk with OS X Tiger on it just for dev work (all iWork/iLife apps have been deleted saving many, many gigs of space).

I have the dock set to auto-hide. I use a wireless Mighty Mouse and the new wired metal, chicklet key keyboard. I have a wired Mighty Mouse, but I like the wireless since its heavier and, well, wireless.
