Any idea what bundle the .png files need to be dropped in if your on a Verizon iPhone? I don't see a Verizon_US.bundle folder.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm looking for instructions for a Verizon phone as well :confused:

Just made these for my fellow fans of the greatest hockey team and country ever:

Can someone help me understand how to format images in order to be the correct size, color, etc for a Carrier Logo?

I found instructions for using Adobe but I do not have that program. Is this possible to do on a program like Irfanview?

This is how it was done under 4.x (I had a Verizon iphone at the time and it worked perfectly), credit goes to "HellKatzX" over at the ModMyi.com forums. I don't remember the link. Keep in mind the image names may have ~iphone appended to them now or use that 1only naming convention.

Navigate to your /private/var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/Zeppelin_US.bundle on your iPhone. Copy the Zeppelin_US.bundle to your computer and then make a duplicate of the bundle to keep as a backup in case you do something wrong. Using one of the copies, right click it and select Show Package Contents. Right click the carrier.plist file and open it in an editing program like BBEdit. Then look for these two lines of code:

Code:
<key>StaticNATType</key>
<integer>448</integer>

Directly below them copy and paste this code:
Code:
<key>StatusBarImages</key>
<array>
<dict>
<key>AllowPrefixMatching</key>
<false/>
<key>CarrierName</key>
<string>Verizon</string>
<key>DefaultImage</key>
<string>Default_CARRIER_Zeppelin_US.png</string>
<key>FullScreenOpaqueImage</key>
<string>FSO_CARRIER_Zeppelin_US.png</string>
<key>StatusBarCarrierName</key>
<string>Verizon</string>
</dict>
</array>

Then save the carrier.plist file in your editing program and it'll update the file in the bundle. Now you need two graphics. "HellKatzX" also supplied these which I'm displaying below. Simply drag them into the bundle folder where you just modifed the .plist file.

Close the package contents view window for the bundle, then drag the bundle file back into the iPhone folder at /private/var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone and replace the original bundle file. Respring your iPhone and the graphic will display.

I currently mainly use TMobile and it took me awhile to figure out the exact name for the carrier graphics on 5.0 /System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/Unknown.bundle/Default_CARRIER_TMOBILE_1only_@2x.png, /System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/Unknown.bundle/FSO_CARRIER_TMOBILE_1only_@2x.png, and /System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/Unknown.bundle/TS_CARRIER_TMOBILE_1only_@2x.png. This naming convention may also apply to you. Keep in mind your plist would have to have matching names.

I and a few others asked the guy/gal who made the SD version to make an HD one (he/she asked if folks would like one). He/she hasnt been seen since. Lets hope someone else can do it for us.

Anyone capable or willing to make me a black and white red wings logo? I have a colored one, but want a black and white one to use on the homescreen and the colored ill use for in apps.

Does anyone have the 3 android heads side by side? i've seen people on the net have it. Or if anyone can make one that would be cool.

For iphone 4S

what pixle dimentions do the signal bars, carrier, 3G and wi-fi need to be in?

I read around 40-45 tall for carrier, does this apply to the other icons?

I also read folks were just resizing images, and adjusting color to their liking, without photoshop.

Can you explain what program you used to resize and color?
