A pair of USAF F-15's intercept a couple MiGs during the Cold War.

False. Nothing to do with the Cold War. They were on the way to an Airshow.

"SSgt Kevin Bishop took the photo of the 2 F-15 Eagles intercepting the 2 MIG-29s as they were in route to the Abbotsford International Air Show, an annual air show held in August. This particular show was historic for the North American debut of the MIG-29, represented by these 2 aircraft seen in the photo."

This photo was taken in 1989, the Cold War lasted until 1991. So technically I wasn't wrong.
