Reinstalled Mojave on the 17" MacBook Pro yesterday. Mojave dark mode with this Mac's original wallpaper just feels like it was meant to be, especially considering there is no newer or modern-day Retina equivalent to this old 17" MacBook Pro. It has an SSD and runs Mojave plenty fast, though I've been meaning to put in more RAM (only has 4 GB).

In spite of all this Apple decided it's more profitable to persuade 17" MacBook Pro owners to downgrade to a smaller and less-immersive screen. Here's proof the community will always find ways around forced obsolescence!
