Starting October with this one. I may switch to a different one before moving on to a Halloween theme later in the month.

My iMac::

And my rMBP::

Still can't change my Finder and TrashCan Icon with Mountain Lion. I see why I didn't upgrade my iMac now...

Try this:

Go to Macintosh HD>System>Library>CoreServices, then right-click on Dock and choose Show Package Contents. Then go to Contents>Resources and for Finder change finder.png, finder128.png, and finder@2x.png to the images you want. For Trash, change trashempty.png, trashempty@2x.png, trashfull.png, and trashfull@2x.png to the images you want. Restarting the dock might allow you to see the changes, but you may need to logout or restart your computer.

Oh, and don't delete the original icon files, just rename them!

This is how I did it.

Oh my gosh~ Thank you so much! I changed the finder.png and trashcan.png, but not the '@2x' ones. That was my problem. I appreciate your help!
