Here's my favourite toys :)

Sony NT-1 Scoopman

Sony released in 1991 the Scoopman NT-1 recorder. It's a 12 bit linear digital recorder that uses a tape cassette the size of a postage stamp as a storage medium. It was meant to be used for voice recording, but I used mine for music -- especially in the car and when skiing.

Now of course, my iPods (G1 10GB and Shuffle) have completely replaced it. Occasionally I will use mine to record something then convert to .mp3.

Oh yes :D
Try and avoid it now as it's getting VERY heavily policed. Nice during the week though !

In the summer, when not at work, I'm on one of these. My two favourite toys.
