Me too. I thought I'd be the only one here. Currently building a 16'x22' O gauge layout in the basement.

I used to be into R/C cars & trucks, but I don't have time for that and only have 1 truck left.

I also enjoy useless speculation on random topics. Which is why I spend a lot of time in the PRSI forum. Currently, I am also trying to figure out how a big crane gets put up...because wouldn't you need a crane to do it? It's so chicken and the egg...Makes my head hurt.

I also like to climb and to waste afternoons in the sunshine doing nothing in particular...

Space. Not astronomy, but getting out there and looking at it. I'm addicted to Mars. I founded and manage a forum dedicated to unmanned spaceflight, and give talks to astronomy societies etc about what the Mars Rovers are doing and so on. Occasionally, I'll take a 'holiday' from work to go to a science or engineering conference and report on it for The Planetary Society.

I also love 3d animation - so I'm playing around with data, techniques and ideas for animations on full-dome planetaria.

And I'm trying to grow tomatoes.

haha i plated these orange trees well tanderine trees like 5 years ago and now i think they are actually budding

do not know if i should even eat them.
i gave up and making their soil and stuff perfect about 4 years ago but they are still doing pretty well
