How much trouble did GlasklartHD give you? I'm using a knock off of the sd version 'cause I got tired of dealing with the black icon or square icon problem. Is that fixed now or something?
 
Does anyone happen to have a retina version of this Winterboard icon they could post?

I've only been jailbroken for a couple of days now, still experimenting and learning how to do and where to put stuff.:D

Hi Man how did u manage to get that cosmote image on the top. ?? i dont want to put any theme i am just interested in getting my carrier logo changed like u did and the icon for signals and wifi changes like us.

i will really appreciate your help / guidance in this regard.

put your FSO_CARRIER_TELENOR@2x.png, and Default_CARRIER_TELENOR@2x.png into the folder
SSH into your phone to /var/stash/ThemesXXXXXX/(Your THeme)/Bundles
Reboot

thanks buddy ... i tried ... i ssh into my iphone i can find /var/stash/ but there is no themesxxxxx further ???? do i need to install winterboard for this first ?

if i do does winterboard have any known conflicts ?

Using iPhone Explorer I went to private/var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundle.bundle and simply added my two custom carrier files Default_CARRIER_COSMOTE@2x.png
FSO_CARRIER_COSMOTE@2x.png

As for the signal & wi-fi I don't know how to help you since you don't want themes. I added mine in the UIImages folder of the winterboard theme i use

i tried that mate ..doesnt work :( ... i went into private/var/mobile/library/carrier bundle.bundle and copied those two files there, restarted my iPhone ...No change.

FYI my carrier is not officially supported by apple / iphone.

Yes you need winterboard and no conflicts I have w/ it.

Anytime you change themes just do same w/ com.apple folder!

Although I love the SB widget I'm thinking about removing it. It seems like a little overkill having weather on LS, SB and status. What do you all think?

I don't have to deal with the square icon problem since I have ALL of my apps skinned with Glasklart HD icons. Even ones that aren't included in the package, I just pulled icons from similar apps that would work and created the folders myself using iphone explorer.

As for the black icon backgrounds... I had that fixed the first day following the instructions on the first page of the post on MacThemes Forum. It's also where I snagged extra icons to skin apps that weren't in the package.

Any new app I install now, I skin as I go... I really like the clean look of Glasklart HD so I wont be changing it. Even got the weather icon theme and live clock theme to match!

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of.... I got a knock off of glassklart that had almost all my icons included. I had very few I had to add manually. I tried upgrading to the HD glasklart but it didn't seem worth the effort .

It's funny but even after following the icon mask instruction, *some* of the glasklart included icons still gave me black background icons while others (most) didn't.

Thanks. Maybe I'' just suck it up and spend the time necessary to complete it.

check for this file or something like that(depends on carrier):
private/var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles/20201
put icons in there if you find it.By the way did yoy try to delete the original icons first(backup them before do that) and then paste the two new?
