Help with Lockscreen Wallpaper

I'm a newbie to jailbreaking and also to this site...i loved all the themes and backgrounds that you guys have posted...but after trying on my own to get my wallpaper from danael m9 to work i have been stumped. I was wondering if anyone could walk me through getting this to work. Sorry if this is a stupid request there just doesn't seem to be any good tutorials out there for this...i'm also on 4.2.1 Thanks again!

You need iFile or some other way to access the iPhone.
Take the image you want to have displayed, copy it and past it in the folder of the theme you are using. In that folder, you will find a "wallpaper.png" file. Rename it to "1wallpaper.png" and rename your image to "wallpaper.png" (all names without the ", of course). Respring and you should see your background.

Thanks for the info...now do i have to change anything with the html file to get this to show up correctly?

As long as you see a Wallpaper.png file in the theme folder, then the html file should already be set to look for it. If you do the steeps I mentioned above, then the html will grab the image you want to see.

Only solution I have found to work consistently is to e-mail yourself the images you want to use for Lockscreen & Homescreen, then save them to your camera roll, then set them within Apple's Settings/Wallpapers option. Once set you can delete them from your camera roll.

This theme was designed in Oct 2010, so you do have to edit the HTML file.

cool thanks for the answer...any ideas on how i could edit the HTML file? seriously i'm sorry for being such a nuisance.

On the phone: use ifile from Cydia

On computer an ssh program call WinSCP (windows) or cyberduck (Mac)
