After many hours of playing with Norcal's Noki slideshow widget, I have converted it from a normal slideshow into a movie reel similar to an animated gif. It is available in both a regular silver Noki version and a Darkmod version, depicted. The speed of the animation is user-adjustable so you can set it for whatever works best for the movie you are making.

It operates on 100 slides, so the best thing to do would be to find a nice animated gif or use iMovie, etc., and rip out 100 slides and batch rename to match the format, explained in the README.

The current version is NSFW, and apologies to the ladies for using Vida Guerra, but it was more a proof of concept before moving on to something more meaningful. Here is a sample picture.

Working with a different widget now as I prefer this one more. Only question is, where do I find the temperature so I can change the font? I had no trouble finding the year, date, time, etc. as they were all in the same html document but I didn't see the temperature anywhere.

Here are mine: nice and simple

I am using LS Down from schn3d1, but I am having an issue and was hoping someone can help.

It seems the weather temp and icon does not refresh unless I unlock the lockscreen and go back to the lockscreen.

I even changed

var updateinterval = 5

can anyone help?
thanks

I've noticed an issue when I use an icon layout like the 3x3 dense. Whenever I try to open a folder that has 9 or more apps, it goes to a blank screen of my background. The only way to close the folder when this happens is to hit the home button. This does not happen when I try to open a folder with less than 9 apps in it. If I change the layout to the default 4x4 or any variation of 5x4, the folders open without a problem. Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?

I've noticed the same issue. I see you're using it on your springboard, but with the LS version, once you unlock the phone and relock it, the black bar is gone.

It's not a huge deal, but hopefully tadad1 will be along with a fix.

Thanx to FledMorphine for SB Widget....
Thanx to Schn3di for LS
Thanx to the creator of Status Bar Icons....
Lovin it!

Here are mine. Forgot where I got the LS, probably from this thread somewhere :D

After seeing a few people with Prestige I HAD to get it. These icons are just amazing!

Only thing I still want to tweak is my SB wallpaper. The default Prestige wall looks okay but it's a little dull for my tastes.

Edit: The Prestige theme is so weird. Wallpaper.png and Wallpaper@2x.png don't work. I have no idea where the actual wallpaper is stored. I guess the weather/time/date widget is tied into the wallpaper anyway though right? So I guess I shouldn't mess with it.

You should be able to change the wallpaper regardless; whatever the name is, both name and location of that file are coded into the HTML. I don't have Prestige, so I can't look it up for you, but if you can't find it surely someone here will be able to help.

(I'm with you, that wall is DULL.)

supervixen--thanks for the downloads! Love both those screens you posted.

I'll keep poking around. In the Prestige theme folder there is no Background.html, or no .html file at all. Hmm.

Thanks so much for attaching that! It worked...sort of. haha. So as you can see from my image in my previous post, I'm using the Redline Frameless Icon, just as you are in your image. So in SSH I open up the Redline Framless Icon.theme and in it there's no UIImages folder, just Bundles, Folders, psd, and an Info.plist. So instead I opened up the Redline.theme folder (you know, the main one) and went to UIImages there and repaced the Translucent_Base.png and the Translucent_Base@2x.png with your attached image. So basically here's what's up: In WinterBoard, if I have just Redline Frameless Icon checked, the dock is great but the status bar isn't translucent. But if I have both Redline and Redline Frameless Icon checked, the StatusBar is great, but my dock is black (image attached). So I guess my final question is how do I get rid of the black dock? When just Redline Frameless Icon is checked, the dock is transparent, and I want to keep that. Is this something with the "overlay.png" or something? Thanks again for your help!

I didn't see that anyone answered this one; if it's a dupe, apologies.

First--what you're seeing has nothing at all to do with the widget, or it's overlay. All the overlay does is put the "metal" plate over the wallpaper for the time/weather background. There aren't any docks included in that widget.

As far as the status bar, etc.--you can always add your own UIImages folder (or Bundles or Folders, for that matter) to any theme and paste whatever files you need to into it. So if you don't want to run the main Redline theme at all, that's what you'd do--paste it into Redline Frameless, or make a theme of your own and put it there. Many of us have a "master" theme we've created with elements from other themes, such as transparent docks and status bars, or status bar icons, or sounds, or what have you, that we run on top of other themes so our favorite elements are always present, and that's how we create them. Mine combines pieces of probably ten other themes originally. I just got tired of checking them all in Winterboard and made one big theme out of them. LOL

However, if you do want the rest of the Redline theme and its UI elements:

There's a black dock in the main Redline theme, I'm guessing (I never loaded the full theme into WB, just pulled it off the phone and only left the frameless icons on there, so I haven't seen it personally). Docks are named SBDockBG@2x.png (or without the 2x for SD themes), and are found in the theme under Bundles/com.apple.springboard. Just add a dash or ~ or * in front of the file to rename it and then respring, and that should take care of it.

If not, I used to use a theme from Cydia called "Transparent Dock (4.2.1)"--try adding that ABOVE all the Redline themes.
