Open Cydia, go to Manage, then Settings. Change from User to Develepor.

Just be carefull installing things that aren't actually supported. The SCHWidget packs are safe.

Did you use winter board or manually themed?

Winterboard because it was easier, but it's not hard to do it manually either (and for biteSMS it had to be done manually).

Hmm. Did you try Hacker? One option should allow you to install anything you want I believe.

It's iOS 7. iWidgets was updated.
