I currently have an EOS 1000D (got it for very cheap) and am going to buy the 18-200mm lens for my holiday to Hong Kong in January. The 2 things you just bought are my ultimate goal though.

The Bamboo was a spur of the moment purchase, I went in to buy the Panasonic Lumix, they didnt have one and i some how walked out with the Tablet, its freakin awesome :-D

The Lumix I wanted because Summer is almost here in Australia and I dont want to take my Canon DSLR to the beach.
 
Been wanting something from Hard Graft for a while now, but couldn't make up my mind. Finally decided to go along with my other purchase... A friend wanted to get me a belated birthday present and offered to buy a new sleeve for my new MBA 11.6".
Can't wait to get it. Will post pics!

Almost bought this the first time I saw it at an Apple store, regretted not buying and picked it up the next time I was at an Apple store. Haven't played with it much but am liking it so far, trying to find the best app to use with it.

Ordered this morning. 60GB SSD. Will be my weekend project while the wife is away. :D

Going to use my existing 500GB WD Scorpio Black drive in the optical bay, and the SSD as my OS/APPS drive.

I studied computer science in my first year at university. I liked the psychological aspect of how the HCI is designed (7±2 menus at the top, the most severe tasks at the bottom of drop down menus - i.e. in the file menu, quit is the last command, the use of a line in menus to separate groups of commands (chunking?), why Serif / Sans Serif fonts are used etc). However I didn't do too well in the programming side of things. The language we studied was ADA and I found it really difficult.

I graduated with a degree in maths, which of course, you need to have some level of logic therefore I thought I would be good at programming. I suppose I never studied hard enough. It was weird as I knew what I wanted some of my programs to do, but found the problem solving aspect of it too difficult.

Our CS program is more hard core coding then the psychological aspect though I do plan to take a HCI course in my senior year - we'll see how that goes. We're doing C (just finished a project this morning! :cool:) and it's pretty difficult as well. I'm was never good at maths so what I did was just to take the bare minimum requirements for my major and finish maths completely ;) which I supposed is bad. But, ironically, I do ok in my classes. The problem-solving aspect is definitely the hardest - I would want it just to work too ;) I was never good at planning - my method is to just jump in - sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. ;) I supposed that's why we have to take an algorithms class next semester. :(
 
only about 2,000$ worth of parts, racing quads is expensive...

Yeah this is my dream kit, before I bought the 5D MK II and 70-200mm, I was using the old and trusty Canon XTI (400D) with the 28-70mm L series lens. It did the job, but I told my self I needed to upgrade after how many years of using my XTI :)

(I'm really happy for her, let me finish, but Kanye West is one of the best R&B artists of all time. One of the best R&B artists of all time.)
