I have these behind my monitor/desk too. They look great at night and didn't cost much to purchase.
Android just lets me do more and have more control over my own phone, and the S4 in particular is just such a great piece of hardware compared to the iPhone 5. After being so happy replacing my iPad with a Nexus 7 It was a no brainer really.
You know what I just did? I waved my hand in front of my phone while it was just sitting there with the screen off. And it then came on for a few seconds and showed me the time, all my notifications, and battery life. I'm still not tired of that.

There's a fair amount of truth to that.
I just ordered this laptop lap tray. I have a Logitech lap tray, which is very solid and comfortable, but the tray surface s so smooth that the MBP slides down the tray all the time when I'm seated in a chair. I'm sure some sort of jury rig fix could be applied to keep the computer from sliding, but for aesthetic reasons I prefer not to do that. (Fussy old putz, ain't I?
It arrived today and I'm using it now. I didn't realize when I bought it that it was made by Cooler Master. I really like that company and I used to have an aluminum laptop cooler for my older MacBook Pro and really liked that too.
This one is very nice so far. It's comfortable on the lap and has a nice angle for typing and is plenty wide enough for my 15" MBP and my YubiKey to stick out the side of the USB port, but is still protected from open space below it - meaning Puma wouldn't be able to grab it and break it off from below!

That's Jax....it's his favourite spot...Bengals have a real " King Of The Castle" thing going on....if he's up there, he has the highest spot in our place...He really will watch anything...
