I got new shoes for my iPhone 6. A case from Carved from their Satellite Series. I think it looks pretty cool. My iPhone is Space Grey so it matches well with the black plastic on the case.

I also got myself a new watch to complement my Omega SMPc. A Seiko SARB065. Now I just need a brown leather strap.

Gorgeous. Great idea and long may you enjoy it.

Personally, I love old maps and have quite a few.

Thanks.

For anyone living in the UK there is a fabulous website showing maps of how Britain looked as far back as the late 1800's, with a slider bar so you can see the differences between now and then. Ive spent hours and hours studying places in the UK that are relevant to myself. This is also where I purchased my maps, costing from as little as £8. I purchased a range of maps from different decades and different sizes.

Select the map era from the drop down menu to the left, position to the area of map you want to view, zoom in, then move the slider bar to see 'then and now'...

Thanks a lot for that. Much appreciated.

A lovely place where I have bought some gorgeous maps is the Antique Map Shop in Bath - they have had some amazing stuff.

Okay, I just realized I bought the remake of A Better Tomorrow (no wonder why I was thinking where is Chow Yung-Fat and Ti Lung?)

so used copies of Original John Woo version and blu ray of A Better Tomorrow II purchased.

Also

City War, True Colors and A Killer's Blues.

These are the last few things I have purchased. The iMac I am using right now. It is pretty awesome. The motherboard and wireless card are expected to arrive on Friday. They are replacing a X99S I had that developed an issue. I was going to get a Rampage Extreme but I ended up deciding against it because I don't really need the wiz bang features it adds. The MSI board is a really decent workstation board. I went with Wireless N because my internet connection speed is still eclipsed by Wireless N. The extra $35 for AC would be wasted because of *shudder* Comcast and their monopolist ways.

You'd still get LAN benefits from AC, just not internet speeds, assuming your router supports AC

Technically you are correct. The 2012 Mac Mini is the last Mac I have that uses wireless N instead of AC. My 13" rMBP and the new iMac use AC. However I'm not using wireless on the PC as the primary source of wireless connection. My wireless router is an Airport Extreme and I'm using the 5GHz spectrum since all the people around us are using the 2.4GHz spectrum. It gives us a less noisy wireless space to work with.

If I feel like the Wireless N is holding back the machine I'll upgrade it. :D It's a Core i7 5930K, 32GB 2400MHz DDR4 in quad channel, 2xGTX 970 in SLI. I love the machine to death especially since I built it. Unfouruntaly when I say the board developed a problem it was along the lines of my own darn fault. I was trying to take the second graphics card out to move my primary new 960GB SSD to the 6GBs SATA3 port and in the process the PCIe slot ripped right off! I thought the graphics card holder was unlatched and I didn't excert any unusaul ammount of force. It just turned out to be very fragile. I'll be happy to get it back up and running this weekend.

Asus G752 gaming laptop. Just trying out this monstrosity for the shtz and giggles, might return it. My rMBP is starting to show its age in playing games and I wanted to play the new Tomb Raider without the stuttering!

If that isn't working out for you there are the MSI gaming laptops that have SLI and get up to 18". :D

Looks kinda like an old Dell laptop I used to have. I hope it works well for you but man is it ugly.
It has the ROG all seeing eye logo. It should be fairly decent at gaming. However yes when it comes to laptops ASUS, HP, MSI and all of them couldn't design themselves out of a cardboard box aesthetically.
