Are G-drives good and reliable? I've been considering one and the reviews seem good, but I'm still unsure if I should make the leap for one...

They are running Hitachi drives, which are among the most reliable on the market right now. It was a little bit more expensive (~30€) compared to other options I had, but G-Tech offer a 3-year warranty on all their products. Plus, the case is really nice ;)

Paid off my wife's car almost three years early. It will be nice to lose that monthly payment. :)
Great! I paid off my mortgage in 2001. What a relief not to get that $2000 bill every month for 30 years since I first purchased it in 1999. BTW, I lease my cars. It works for me since I like having a new car every 3 years that's always under warranty.

We are in the process of paying off a big chunk of our debt. It's very liberating. :)

Celestron Nexstar 130 SLT. Think I should now get a T adaptor for my SLR.
I got a little bit of buyers remorse and so went and bought an 8" dobsonian. Much cheaper than the 5.1inch Celstron anyway as it doesn't have the computerised mount. But, the mount was becoming a pain as it had to be powered on before I could move the tube. Plus, the tripod legs are very flimsy and so theres a lot of shake. It become annoying. Other issues were the fact that it was very difficult to get anything other than a blurry image when using my DSLR.

So, bought the Dobsonian which also has it's flaws. It is really meant for use in a wide open space. I have a view just outside my apartment of jupiter at 5am that would be excellent if the Dobsonian was able to move enough to catch it in view. So, didn't manage to get it but I'll get there. This is a great time to view Jupiter from the Southern Hemisphere as it's very close to Earth.

I finally decide to buy earphones for activities. The price drop for 60,00€ for one day so I order one Powerbeats2 Wireless. Hope they will last long.
