I love my Jazz bass... MIA basses are pricey, but nice to the "made in u.s.a" on the head stock. I'm not far behind you. The 83-84 white (now aged yellow) Fender P-bass in previous post, bought new... original owner... and I gig'd it after purchasing.I've been playing Jazz basses for years. My latest is a 2006 (50th anniversary ) American made Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe. Great basses! Good luck with yours. How long have you been playing? I'm going on 46 years...Yep, I'm old...lol

Nice collection, but all your basses have a bridge pup. I use a Sansamp preamp with my Jazz bass to give a little on the subs, but my p-bass sound cuts through the mix without a preamp. I think you need to add a p-bass to your collection. The 1.75 nut isn't that uncomfortable to play. I don't have any issues rotating my p-bass and jazz... but I admit the Jazz neck feels better. We lost a great bass player (J. Jamerson) this year... RIP.I always wanted to own a P Bass because of it's classic sound that James Jamerson made famous, but the neck was a bit too fat for my hands.
BTW, these are my current basses from left to right
1979 Kramer DMZ 5000 (aluminium neck)
2012 Lakland Skyline Darryl Jones DJ4
2006 Fender Jazz Deluxe, 60th Anniversary (USA)

I want to add a PJ bass like your Kramer... but a Fender brand MIA or MIM. That would complete my collection. BTW are those Dimarzio pup's on the Kramer? Great pup's, I use them on my p-bass.
Yes... Left out the "Jr.". I'm out of town in Denver at a conference. Not very good posting from my iPhone. Proof I'm getting old. They are DiMarzio pickups with dual windings with a series/parallel toggle switch. BTW, James Jamerson died in 1983. Were you talking about his son?
