I've had some bad luck with these wireless barbeque thermometers. This new one has been getting universal praise on the 'net, uses a "sub-G" freq range (not WIFI nor BlueTeeth) that supposedly goes thru thick houses, steel smokers and even cast-iron Dutch Ovens. I was eyeing the new wireless from ThermoWorks, a company I trust, but their new unit is twice the price and requires a smartphone to control, and its "base unit" has no display; this Typhur does.
We'll see how it works in a few days. It comes in a single probe, dual probe (what I bought) and four-probe configuration; I rarely cook more than one item in my smoker but being able to track the temp in both the breast, and the thigh, of a cheekun might be useful.

Been waiting long? I feel like we’ve had back orders since launch. Mind you the X100v was the same right up until it was replaced.
I got more stuff for music rack:
- 4x P2 Personal IEM amp
- 8 Channel DI Box
- 16x AAA Rechargeable Batteries w/charger
- XLR Cables (no pictured)
I know this isn't a musician forum, so basically if you noticed... a lot of bands don't use amps and floor wedges anymore. We using IEM's on stage, where we can have our own personal mix and hear what we want to hear (which is what the P2's are for)... and the sound engineer in the back mixes for FOH (Front of House). The DI is basically way musicians can plug in their instruments with a 1/4 unbalanced TS cable, and the XLR cables on the back go into my mixer.
This is set up for home for rehearsals, or just playing for fun playing at lower volume, but in silence to the rest house.
The stuff above, is basically the gear with the green lights on the bottom. I have enough personal mixes for 4 stereo, and 4 mono mixes. I have barely enough room for 8 band members in my room... hahaha...
One thing that is relatable in this forum... is cable management and clean desk setups. I try to do same with my music setup in my office/music room.

This will replace the Sabaj A10a on my desktop. Will be going from Chinese made class D, to American made class AB.
The Sabaj is a nice amp and the best part about it for me are the large volume knob and on/off switch on the front.

Hope to find another USB-C hub later that have a separate input to the MacStudio, as that's how I have 2 USB-A today. But The Studio in itself has a good set of USB-C contacts, so good this far.
This hub was not for that room, but for around and where the MBA often are located.
Is that a hub? It looks like a charger to me.

It does seems like my 2 USB-A-hubs can charge peripherals just fine too as hubs connected to the MacStudio and into the electrical outlet.
So both can acts as chargers, but only 1 as a hub.
Whatever, I need this one where it is now, as I did bought it for this room.
But next one needs to be a hub that can work with the MacStudio, and replace 1 of the USB-A ones.
Bought this last Saturday - 2023 Subaru WRX Limited with a 6-speed. Traded in my 1995 Honda Accord which I had owned for the last 14 years but was finally done with it. Still have my Civic.
Was adamant i wouldn't, but decided to trade in my M1 Max 16" for an M4 Pro 14".
During Covid lockdowns there was a huge surge in home sourdough bread making. I caught that virus (not Covid) like many others. Getting some ingredients was difficult so once I had to order a 50 pound bag of bread flower since there was none in the stores. The fad quickly faded once people discovered how much work it is, particularly for sourdough. So I got rid of my proofing baskets.
I'm hoping that this thing will make that process much easier ....

Been hearing funny noises from the traditional HDD i use for TimeMachine. So just in case, i'm replacing it with an SSD
