That MegaMan thing is annoying, though I can see its appeal.

Yeah, it was fun for about the first 5 times, but then it just got annoying. I'll bet the bank that Apple is working on integrating this into Leapord, though! :p

As the only sensible suggestion here, I have to say this is the best!

Multiple docks without having to relaunch Finder every single time! Maybe one on the right and one on the left, or one top and one bottom. Or maybe just a hotkey for each dock.

Multiple desktops linux style would be nice,

desktop11.jpg

If you have a look at the middle of the dock (bottom) there are the numbers 1,2,3 and 4 these each represent an individual desktop...This would work for say one desktop for work and one for play etc....Very Useful,

YUCK!

PATOOOOOEEEEYYY!

What is wrong with "User Switching" if you need separate work/play environments?

I hope the 3D revolving desktop stops spinning every once in a while so people can get their work done.

You all obviously haven't used various desktops in a linux enviroment to see how useful they are....therefore please don't slag off a concept you don't understand.

They will be featured in Leopard I am certain, probably in the 3D revolving variety which will be extremely cool,

I agree with Snake here. Multiple desktops are a great feature. And yes, KDE is butt-ugly, but I don't think that Shadow was suggesting that Apple should copy its style too!

Shadow,
Guilty as charged. I have not used Linux, but think I have a good idea of what you are suggesting. I am just not a fan of separate work-spaces/environments implemented via multiple desktop instances. Why can't the same thing be achieved by having, I don't know, customizable presets that are easily accessible. With each preset, users can configure their working environment to compliment/tune their system to the tasks they plan to tackle. Simple things like system performance-level settings, folder visibility, finder-window view modes, dock items, etc can be pre-configured and changed with a simple click/selection.

If apple can do multiple desktops as well as they do one, single desktop, then i think it would be an awesome addition...

That'd be very nice. Apple should have left this feature in the first place with 10.1.
