We currently have a single thread where everyone posts their setups whatever they may be in one place.

Do you like it like this, or would you prefer separate threads for different hardware?

Post Your MacBook/iBook setup.
Post Your MacBook Pro/PowerBook setup.
Post Your MacBook Air setup.
Post your Mac Pro/PowerMac setup.
Post your iMac setup.
Post your Mac Mini setup.
etc...

Please use the poll to vote. It'll be this that's looked at rather than individual comments.

I think it would just have to be that members call to make, or they might choose to take separate shots and post one in each corresponding thread.

So identical posts in multiple threads will still be unacceptable.
Yeah, I'd say so. If you have a setup with 2 machines either make a call and just post once in the thread for what you'd consider to be your primary machine, or take separate shots and post to both threads. Either way, I don't see double posting in this case as a major problem. How many times would peoples setups change requiring them to post again?
