Got the office cleaned up. It gives my wife anxiety but I know where everything is :)

How do keep track of your mouse pointer……. 😁
LOL!

Two methods…

1. I have the assistive thing on that makes the mouse pointer bigger temporarily when you shake the mouse. That's usually enough.

2. But if I still can't find the pointer, then I have Better Touch Tool set with keyboard commands to direct my pointer to the center of the display I want it on. At that point it is right where I expect it to be.

My mouse pointer tends to gravitate and shoot off to the HDTV though. I have no idea why, but it's really annoying whenever I have the source set to something other than my Mac. Like right now, my Amazon Fire Stick is streaming my local news. If the pointer shoots up I will never see it because the TV isn't showing the Mac source signal right now. Hence BTT to force my pointer back.

Mostly though, the majority of what I do involves the three central displays so I can usually find the mouse somewhere in there.

One day! One day and both kids will be out of the house and my wife and I get their rooms back!

Then I don't have to be taking up a large chunk of the living room anymore!
It’s possible of course that the kids girlfriend or boyfriend’s move in with you and stay there whilst they save for a place with your grandchildren (which they’ll expect you to babysit for free!).

Just saying.

There are times when I feel kinda guilty about my boys having to sift through and categorize all of this stuff when I buy the big ticket and go on my next grand adventure but if what @Apple fanboy states happens, I just look at it as rent back pay, payable to my wife.

I always taught y'all to always love your mama ... now GET TO WORK BOYS! :)

Mrs AFB is a crafter. Her room would be a nightmare to sort! Fortunately I’m planning to go first! My photography stuff would be easy to sell.

I will be doing like my great uncle did and by a certain age I'll be giving stuff away. Hopefully at the end it's just a minimal set of stuff. As much as I love my 'stuff', if I can't take it with me I want people who can/want to to use it to have it. Versus it going to the dump or other places. Or just hanging around getting old and useless. It also gives you a certain 'immortality'. :)

We took my great uncle's dining room set and his buffet. It's used every day in our kitchen. Any time I pull out his old tape measure or cooler I am reminded of him. We have his coffee table in the garage. And my great uncle's stuff was quality, circa the 1950s when he was in his prime as a carpenter building homes. They don't make stuff this way any more.

When I’m on the go like travelling or school I have my Mac sitting on the laptop sleeve :

I use my stand at home since it’s really big to carry.
