Next time I'm in OSX I'll fish out my college setup. College was 5 years ago for me but I had-

14" IBM Thinkpad something-or-other
3G iPod 15gb (lots of travelling)
Some Toshiba Pocket PC
Tiny VGA camera
Siemens M55 phone
GBA (since I did design and wrote an awful lot about games and gameplay)

Uni was a better setup. Still using it now!

I'll post a picture later, but:
I'm just finishing my freshman year (last two finals were this morning, I don't remember the last time I woke up at 7:30 ).

I've got a MBP that should last me through college and an iPhone (it's great, especially in the city to be able to just carry around one device). I also have an iPod nano as my iPod that I beat up on (ie, gym, running, going to sleep).

EDIT: Oops, forgot the Time Capsule in my closet that I use for wireless internet, time machine, file storage, and streaming video.

Few, we Marylanders hate duke.

Anyway I am starting next year at Villa Julie College, I plan on getting another mac, probably a 15" MacBook Pro.

Mind you I live at home in a room that is 7' x 8' in which I share. In that room I sleep on the top bunk which gives me a lot of space to work. Oh yeah, I'm a college student...

I love this space.

...and yes, that is my bed.

When I went to college there were no PCs to take. I graduated from HS in 1975. I first learned about computers on a Olivetti word processor. They were big and heavy but correcting your typing errors before you printed was a great thing. Before that there were IBM procesing cards and very big mainframes which only companies had, not school kids. It was another 5 or 10 years before I saw my first cell phones and they were huge, mostly in cars. I did have a very small B/W TV and that was more that a lot of kids had at the time.

The Olivetti looked like this.

Aussies say Uni too? I thought it was just the Brits.

Learn something new everyday.:)

The Canadians, too. I'm pretty sure in all the former British colonies, "college" is normally a lower-form of education than university.

I'm also pretty sure that Victoria College (just the name of a smaller part of U of T, basically just where I live) at the University of Toronto has the worst dorm rooms/dorm furniture ever!

Terrible picture and I am way to lazy to walk to my car to get my DSLR.

Here and there!
Three pictures here; the first one is my first room setup, second is my post-Thanksgiving room setup (in a badly-stitched panorama), and third is my desk setup (which stayed the same the entire time).
