Seeing as many of us just got Lion, I'm genuinely curious as to how we're all adapting and organizing.

Mission Control does indeed provide an overview of the entire landscape you're using and thought it be interesting to see how others are using theirs..considering Lion has been out for a mere one day..

Anyways, here's mine:

I miss spaces too. I understand the full screen aspect of Lion and do enjoy swiping from one space to another, but am placing faith on simply needing to become accustomed to Mission Control, as it's definitely replaced my 6 space grid that I loved so much.

i'm sure the full screen apps would be perfect on a 11" or 13" laptop, but on my 27" iMac it just seems stupid, haha. why would i have my email take up my entire desk when i have it laid out nicely beside my other communication apps, y'know? :)

and yes, R.I.P. 6-Space Grid. that was my thing, too.

the only thing i miss is my show all windows gesture. I dont like how Missions Control groups the individual windows so closely together so you cant see what is on that page. I know i can mouse over and hit the space bar, but its no the same.

Love that can have iTunes full-screen else-where... and created a space just for reading news...

after getting used to it I find it to be very good for workflow, usually ill split apps into individual space's depending on what they do aka twitter and adium in one, Spotify and a radio player in another, loving the gesture for moving between them with a swipe.

I'm still learning Mission Control, but I think I've finally got the hang of it.

My windows unexplainably always change between desktops so there was no point in having any of those open. But you get to see my basic layout ... basically 6 desktops. (actually I only keep 5 normally but I just opened that up for something)

Anyone having problems getting apps to stay in a specific window? I put Reeder in desktop 3, yet it keeps coming back to desktop 1 at random points. Anyway to force it, like in Spaces?

Open it in the space you want it in and then on the dock icon right click (or two finger click. Whatever you wanna call it) and go to options> assign to this desktop. :)
