I was just thinking that as there are so many people here that love the Apple brand and it's products, them surely some people must love the Oakley brand and their sunglasses.

I will post pictures of mine when I get my mine from my cricket bag, I have a pair of Jawbones and a pair of M Frames

Well here is my sunglasses collection. From Oakley I have 2 pairs of half jackets with both clear and polarized lenses plus cases which I never use. I've probably owned 6 pairs of these. I have 1 pair of M frames but probably have 5 somewhere else in the house. 1 pair of gascans in multicam color used when in Afghanistan. 1 pair of I don't remember the name I wear at the beach. I've probably had 40 pairs of Oakleys which probably 35 of them have been free from working with Special Forces. Whatever kind I wanted I got which is nice when you have to wear them all day long. The rest of this collection is ESS crossbows which I have at least 10 pair. I only use these when I know I'm going to screw my glasses up.

I've been a collector off and on for years. I'd collect a ton....then years later sell it all and start over. Currently only have radarlocks until I'm on to the next one...

Well I tried uploading them a week ago don't think they went in. Since being in the military I have quite a bit, not all Oakleys but since working with special forces I get almost all of them for free. Guess it has it's perks. Have more just in the process of moving to germany so they are scattered.

We have a good bit of Oakley gear, including a really awesome computer bag I scored several years ago

My prescripts are Oakley Servo, I’ve got some Polarized Deviations, and I’ve got 3 pairs of X-Metals: Juliet (polished/fire), XX (see below!) and Romeo 2.0. (plasma/gold IR /w root beer rubber). I had a 4th pair that are at the bottom of the ocean somewhere in the Barbados

I had stopped wearing them because the nose piece/orbitals had become so loose. So my XXs I totally refurbed several months ago. Scored some OEM Iridium gray lenses, a set of [aftermarket] new rubber from a great source in Japan, and the center section I did myself.

I made a little brace and use a tiny hammer and blunted punch and tapped out the rivets. The orbitals have tabs that fit into the nose/x-section and there’s a gasket that wears out and dissolves. So I used some 1/4” clear tubing, and made replacements, carefully reinstalled the rivets, installed the OEM lenses and *boom*, basically new XXs.

I plan on doing the same with the Juliets, but I’m going to go with a blue rubber and lenses. Eventually I’ll get to the R2.0 too.

Nice! They are my current favs. Previous favorites a few years back were the Romeo 2's.



I've owned just about every style at one point or another. But I wouldn't own them long as would eBay to go to the next pair. Addiction? Lol

My all time favorite and actually regret selling are zero's. The lightest and most comfortable pair they ever made.
