With all the threads in the Picture Gallery, I was a bit surprised that I couldn't find a "Post your Office" thread... so here it goes. What kind of environment do you work in, and what's your workspace look like? To start off, here's mine -- first photo is the building my office is located in, second two are the reception area, and the last one is my desk.

Your office is in an incredibly good looking building. I don't know why but it seems a little urbany-artsy to me :D

Thanks -- the building is the historic "Old City Hall" building. It's pretty much the nicest office building in town; I was quite happy (and rather lucky) when I managed to get a suite in it. It is indeed a cool place to work -- very nice atmosphere. :)

nice office to the OP, i take it your an editor...?

Thanks :)

I'm a one man band, really -- I run a video production business. I do pretty much everything -- scripting, shoot, edit, etc.

It's quite an enjoyable job. It's also nice being self-employed -- especially at only 18; most of my friends are working restaurant jobs... I much prefer the video production route ;)

where did you get that g4 mount rack that your MDD is on?

I got the rack mount on evil bay for $50. It's from a company called "Marathon Computers". Don't know if they are still in business.

Peace

Nice! What do you do? Looks like maybe some sort of programming?
I am a web developer and UNIX admin.

Most of what I do involves coding Cold Fusion tied to Oracle on the GNU/Linux platform. For stuff I do on the side, I use PHP and MySQL exclusively, also under GNU/Linux. My largest side project is iPod Hacks. Most of that work is done at home, in my home office (of sorts) on my Mac Pro or MacBook Pro.

Work area of my home office:
