So it's getting around to the 4th of July and some cities are already doing fireworks shows. I just went to one on Saturday and got some great pictures (thanks Samsung for the Firework mode. :D)!
So I will start off with a few of mine.

fireworks are legal near me but not for rockets or anything that goes boom. basically all they can sell is fountains so not any fun. it will be interesting to see what people post though. its probably a god thing i would sink like a thousand dollars given the opportunity.

I live out of city limits so thankfully I can set off anything I want. But I really love fireworks so any chance I get to buy some I spend well over $500.

"Between the Hedges"
San Diego Accidentally Set Off All Its Fourth Of July Fireworks at Once

Link to story

Folks in San Diego witnessed what was either the worst Fourth of July fireworks celebration — or the absolute best — when a technical malfunction caused all of their pyrotechnics to go off at the same time. The annual Big Bay Boom extravaganza began and ended in spectacular fashion when an inadvertent signal set off the explosions about five minutes early and caused the entire 18 minute show to take place in about 15 seconds. Confused spectators waited around for what they thought was going to be the rest of the show, but were sent home and told the show (that was supposed to be choreographed to music) was canceled.

These are from last night. They were the best I could do while not being able to affix my camera to my tripod. Darn lever to release the footplate in order to screw it to the camera was stuck. They haven't been edited at all.

It was a great show!
