I'm making this the official place for everyone to post their beautiful iPhone artwork!

Most iPhone drawing programs let you export the file to your photo album. From there, just email it to yourself and upload it as an attachment. Or, you can also sync it with iPhoto.

I'll get things started off. I used Sketches to create this while "watching" The Other Boleyn Girl with my my girlfriend. This definitely helped me pass the time. I love this app. I had to do a restore so all I had was my original file that I had imported with iPhoto. I used the original file as the background and did touchups on it...which caused there to be patches of different colors. So its not perfect...but seriously, I made this on my cell phone. Saying that never gets old!!

This is Strongbad, from homestarrunner.com, for those of you who are not familiar. I did it from memory. The feet and hands are kinda smallish since I had to squeeze them in.

Let the posting begin!!

nice work, but you need an original piece for the first post!

Well, I had several, but this was the only one that I exported from sketches before doing the restore. I wish there was a way to sync all the application save data from the iPhone. I've also lost a lot of my save games. I'm sure I'll have a cork board full of sketches in no time. Its such a slick app! I just need to remember to periodically backup my images just in case. I also wish they would add more colors...like a colorpicker wheel and an eyedropper to select colors on the fly in the drawing. An eraser would also be great, but I usually just draw on top of it to fix it. This app is well worth the money. My girlfriend was very impressed with this app, and she has never been impressed with anything else about my iPhone (crazy I know!).

I had some... then when I updated to the new version it erased mine :(

Yikes! I didn't realize it did that. I had the first version, but then I had to do a restore because of a corrupted mail issue. That is what deleted mine. Then the next day the new version came out so I didn't have any new sketches. There has to be a way to save them besides sending it to your photo album. It compresses the hell out of them, like the image I have attached. When I had to re-import the image, the colors were all off. Sucks.

Nobody has any sketches to share??
I have some, but definitely not worthy to post here.

I did make a quick one the other day:

I ♡ U !

in nice script, exported to photos, then e-mailed to my wife.

She got a kick out of it! :D

It's a fun and convenient app for .... sketches. :)

Aww thats sweet. I made a rose for my girlfriend before I had my sketches erased. I haven't really made any since then. Maybe I will make her one tomorrow. She also loved it.

Great work! The ones I do look rather bad, I'll post some examples soon.
And by the way, is the movie that bad? ;)

Cool! :)

Many times it's the little things that count.

how do you take a screen shot?
When you are in Sketches, there is a button on the lower right side.

Click (press) on it and you will see the following options:

- Export to Photo Album

- Twitter

- Cancel

Select the first one. Exit Sketches. Go to Photos.

You should see a folder called Saved Photos.

Go into the folder, select the photo by clicking on it, then click on the button on the lower left hand side and choose the Email Photo option.

It's fun to do.

Good luck! :)
