Title says all. I'd like to see the kinds of Smart Playlists others are incorporating. Yes, I know, I can Google, but I also want to share a ridiculously simple one.

My playlist's sole condition -- play count is zero

It's like I'm listening to brand-new music again, even though I know I've had them for years now.

It's like I'm listening to brand-new music again, even though I know I've had them for years now.

I have tons also that I never listened to. The Complete Bob Dylan and the Complete Depeche Mode were purchased in iTunes back in 2007 and to this day, I've listened to maybe four albums from each.

Lately, I'm into a lot of podcasts so I'm making playlists that are for each podcast that removes the episode after listening. I have 255 of episodes of Darkness radio to go through.

I have a lot of smart playlists. A few of them are

4*/5* Songs
5* Albums
Great Singers
Great Guitarists
Cover Songs
Live Concert
Live in Studio
Music Vids
Acoustic
Timeline [all studio LPs arranged in grid view, grouped by year]
LP Ratings [same as above but grouped by album rating]
and loads more...

I also listen to a lot of singers who have played in multiple bands, so I have smart playlists for each of them to group together all their work. I also have a folder maintenance smart playlists [no art, no genre etc]

My music is really well tagged so I can create a lot of different playlists. If your music isn't then you'll probably be pretty limited in what you can do.

I spent a month while hospitalized cleaning up EVERYTHING regarding my music - album art, title, album, artist, etc.

Though now I wish I added some keywords in the comments section for the songs...
