None of them are mine (my mom is against wireless networks for some reason). They are either encrypted or just barely in range.

What city is thaat in?? It would be so good if they did that worldwide but i think it is still in trial isnt it??

I live in Norwich, in the UK. It's a 2-year trial and the speed is limited to 256kbps (1Mbps for public employees) but it's usable and definitely been useful. It's all done using small 802.11 devices mounted on lamp-posts and they use WIMAX to transfer the data from these to the "base station" and onto the Internet.

We have that in Tempe, Arizona. It's not a trial and it's limited. You get like, 2 hours a day total on that network.

There's usually a "linksys" around always unlocked with the default login and all. I mistook it for mine when resetting my router. It rarely shows up in airport but I can just type it in and it'll work.

My university's default connection...nothing exciting. I'm at work. It gets more creative when I'm in my dorm's suite.
