I just added a Gigabit ethernet switch to my entertainment center (my media PC died and while it was on the workbench, I got an XBOX 360, so now I've got two units that need to be on the LAN in there) and, in doing, noticed quite a clutter.

Dang! I can't find the photo at the moment, but I had one that beat that all to heck. We had a wiring closet that looked like it was connected by rats. I'll post it if I find it.

Well I've had some pretty messy bands in the studio which has resulted in cables everywhere across an entire room, but in terms of permanent setup, I've always been a freak at keeping cables to an absolute minimum. This is the most I ever had, when I still had a fully blown theatre in my bedroom:

After my friends come over, and we've been switching systems, TVs, and wifi adapters throughout the night, and bringing stuff downstairs:

This is not mine. Reminded me of a great pic I saw at work once, and seemed appropriate to this thread.

What kind of animal is in the cage? If it's a Guinea pig, you'd better get those cables away. :) They have a way of chewing and frying themselves.

Well, no casualties yet, but they have chewed through they're share of USB cables and Game controllers...

EDIT: Just found them chewing on my Ethernet cord... I gotta be more careful.

Mine isn't nearly as bad as some of the aforementioned ones, but it's still not the cleanest.
