Postal 2: Share the Pain Crashes upon Loading

Hey,
I've searched everywhere for information relating to this but haven't found anything, and have even emailed Running with Scissors but they haven't gotten back to me. When I open Postal 2: STP lately, it only shows the warning screen, and then it shuts down. I check and it says that the application is not responding and apple quits it, but it doesn't even ask me for sending a report about it. I bought this game, so I'd like to be able to play it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to open this game? I'm desperate. Thanks in advance.

I guess the first thing I'd try is deleting any preference files related to Postal 2.

You didn't mention what machine or operating system you're using, but on mine (OS 10.4.11) the plist is in the users library folder.

I use 10.5.6. And that was the problem. Thank you so much for your help!
