Hey there,

I would like to inquire about which API tool is better suited for app development. Postman and Insomnia are two names that are quite literally all around, along with names such as Hoppscotch, Bruno, Apidog, and Swagger. I would just like to have a hear about developers' experiences who have been in the dev industry.

Been using Postman for a long time (~10 years?). It's team based collaboration features are great and we've used it in a pinch for basic automation. However we don't necessarily use it for design, mostly just testing. If you're looking for full lifecycle management, then I suspect those other tools might possibly have some bells and whistles that Postman doesn't.

Swagger has a bunch of tools but it's mostly known for Swagger UI, it's web based documentation tool. At one point it was on top of the game, but I've seen a lot of folks slowly shifting to alternatives over the past couple of years.
