I also have a m1 air, a 16" m1 pro and a 14" m1 pro. For traveling I prefer the pro over all of my machines. I love the form factor and outstanding battery life and I actually like the Touch Bar for screen brightness and volume control. I know I am in the minority. Anyone else like me?

If you travel frequently, it’s a great option because of the battery life and slightly better screen than the Air. An absolutely classic Apple form factor as well.
If Apple would’ve added MagSafe to the M2 13” Pro model I probably would’ve purchased one.
I don’t see the Touch Bar being completely useless but my issue with it is Apple isn’t going to support it in any meaningful way neither will software developers because it’s non-existent on the new models. It’s unfortunate because I think it had so much potential. Like 3D Touch on the iPhone that potential was never used and both had the same fate.
This being said I don’t think existence of the Touch Bar would have turned me off because if it had a MagSafe charging connection that’s all I wanted. That’s a big reason for why I’m buying the new M2 Air.
