Hi,

Can someone tell me if this a potential way to get hacked Apps onto a 3G, WITHOUT Jailbreaking it?

So I have 2 iPhones--one 3G, and a normal 2G--the 2G is Jailbroken on 3.0. Now, if I get Installous on the 2G, and say download a bunch of paid apps for free! Then I sync those apps onto iTunes on my mac (can this be even done?). Then I sync my 3G onto the same library, so all the hacked apps will also transfer onto the 3gs?

Is this doable?

Thanks

The easiest way to get apps on your phone is to BUY them.

Just pay for the frickin apps and stop stealing. They are not that expensive, damn.

No, it cannot be done.

People dont take too kind to openly blatant piracy, so I might want to find whatever information your looking for elseware

:apple: No, it cannot be done, it'll say the app cannot be verified, so it has not been synced to your device :apple:

Holy forum fail Batman...

As a budding developer I urge you to perhaps, I dunno, BUY YOUR APPS for your iPhone.

Thank you, we now return you to your regularly scheduled forum posting.

OP - on a 2g or 3g, there is a way to transfer cracked apps to a non-jailbroken device over bluetooth, but you can't do this on a 3GS because the data transmission is blocked by the magnetometer. So I guess you're out of luck.

You can't, cause you need AppSync in order to sync it from the Mac to the phone. Without it, it's not going to read.

Pirateing apps is not recommended but, if you download them though a torrennt you can drag the ipa files right into iTunes app section. I seen it done on YouTube.

you can drag the app into itunes doesn't mean it will be sync over to an unjb phone, or any iphone jb or not that does not have the mobileinstallation patch.
