Power cable for GTX 660 in a Mac Pro 1,1

Hello all! I recently spruced up my old Mac Pro 1,1 with El Capitan and am in the process of installing a GTX 660. The GTX 660 I got came with an incompatible power cable.

Is one enough to power the card? I see two ports on the Mac Pro board but only one on my 660.

It's the card to define how many power required, not the Mac. If there is only one 6pin on the card. Then all you need is just a single mini 6pin -> 6pin cable.
