I need to take my Dual 2.0 G5 PM to work with me in the morning. Not a big deal, other than the power cable that runs to it is bundled with all the other loose wires from my desk into wire loom. It took me way too long to get all those cables into the wire loom, and I really, really don't want to take the power cable out if I don't have to.
My question is, we have an old G3 iMac at work, and I could use that power cable. Would that be ok? I don't want to blow my power supply up because the cable is some specially balanced thing-a-ma-jig.
Silly question - slightly embarrassing actually. Better to be safe than sorry though.
