Power consumption of 2015 MacBook Pro 15 vs 2021 MacBook Pro 16 on a few tasks

Just having some fun with my power meter and I wanted to see how much power is used between these two systems on the same tasks. My takeaway is that Apple TV does a much better job rendering video on x86 than Firefox and VLC.

Idle power on the 2021 MBP is about 8 watts. If I dim the screen to one tick, idle power drops to 6 watts.

I guess the difference would be even bigger with my older late 2013 15' model, than the 2015 model.
