Power Cord on Macbook Pro nearing death

Hello guys,


did a quick search and didn't find anything....



... the powercord on my macbook pro has exposed wire where it meet the magnetic connector. i need a replacement....!? will apple do this right away and for free if i visit an apple store?

Unless it is obvious that you like slashed it or your dog chewed it they should replace it considering it is obviously less than a year old.

That happened to mine and it burnt up.

A lot of people are having this problem, I have had to replace mine on my macbook twice.

If you're lucky, they'll replace it.
