Hi,
First of all, happy new year to everyone!

I'm thinking about installing some USB 3.1 pci-e card in my PM G5 dual core 2,3GHz and my question is if it's even gonna be recognized by 10.4.11 Tiger? And what about USB type C? Is there any hack or kext to make it work on PowerPC platform?

I'd say the chance of it working is extremely slim, and even if it does you're stuck with USB 2.0 speed due to lack of support for 3.0 in PPC Mac OS X Tiger or Leopard.

Nobody's writing drivers for these for PowerPC, so it's not going to work.
