hi guys, I have a question.

i have a mac pro 5.1 mid 2012.
3.33 with 32 GB ram.
I just updated to mojave, installed rx580 with lilu for graphic acceleration.
everything works very well.

my system disk is a ssd samsung 860 evo 2tb on pci owc card, on slot 4
I have a second ssd samsung evo 860 1tb on pci owc card on slot 3.
usb3 sonnet pci card on slot 2
and rx 580 on slot 1

another ssd, installed in place of the cd burner.

now there are the 4 original sata2 slots free, and I would like to use them for my traditional disks, 2tb for various backups.
4 x 2tb

can all these hard drives and pci cards, put the power supply in crisis, making the mac unstable?

I do a lot of video montages.

thanks to who will answer me

Yes, without a sweat. It's a 980W rated power supply.

Mac Pro early-2009 to mid-2012 only have problems with really power hungry GPUs, like VEGA 64 or Radeon VII, not disks or PCIe SATA controllers.

Sì, senza sudore. È un alimentatore da 980 W.

I Mac Pro da inizio 2009 a metà 2012 hanno solo problemi con GPU veramente potenti, come VEGA 64 o Radeon VII, non dischi o controller PCIe SATA.

Thx:)

and then only if they are connected directly to the backplane and not via pixas mod to the PSU ; -)

I lost 2 original 3.5 carriers where to insert hard disk
does anyone have them to sell?
or do you know where I can buy?
I live in Italy
