Hello all –

I currently own a set of Powerbeats Pro headphones, and my biggest problem with these is that the left earphone sometimes doesn't seem to charge at all whilst in the case. You have to press down on the earpiece inside the charging case so that the charging 'metals' come into contact with the left earphone. When I am ready to go out on a run outside, I am almost always left with a right ear functioning Powerbeat Pro and an uncharged left piece.

With this respect, is charging on the Powerbeats Pro 2 better? Have they improved the contact system between the charging case and the earphones themselves?

Thanks in advance!

I didn’t have the first gen so I can only speak to the 2s. They snap into the charging sockets tightly with strong magnets. So far, that means they make solid contact with the two metal charging contacts per side.
