Has anyone else been having connectivity/playback issues with their Powerbeats Pro since the iOS 13 update?

My recurring playback problem is resuming a paused track after some minutes.

On iOS 12, the track would resume properly no matter how long I had the track on pause.

On iOS 13, resuming the track after some time [by pressing the button on the Powerbeats Pro] sometimes results in nothing happening. I have to resume playback with my phone, which is also unreliable sometimes. [I have to skip forward and go back to play the track again from the beginning.] Not sure, but my theory is that this is somehow connected to iOS 13 being more aggressive with memory management.

I’ve also been having sporadic connection issues [random stuttering for a few seconds]. This didn’t happen on iOS 12.

Check for the latest Firmware 2A364. After that, unpair it and made a reset at the case button (press it about 10 sec). Earsets must be in the case.

Thanks for that! I checked, and that’s the firmware I’m on. I’ve also reset my Powerbeats Pro multiple multiple times already and reset my iPhone XS’s network settings. Not sure what gives.

I am getting the same issue with my PBP. It’s annoying as hell. Only does it on some apps and other apps are fine.

however I think it’s not PBP issue I tried another 3rd party earphones and they do exactly the same thing.

I think it’s an issue with the iOS 13 firmware and compatibility with certain apps

Which apps does the issue seem to affect? In my case, it’s Spotify. I’m also on Apple Music, but it hasn’t happened there. The issue still persists in iOS 13.2.2.

I use capital and capital xtra app it’s a radio app. Those apps pause normal but unable to unpause with Powerbeats pro

I think YouTube works normal though.

I just bought a pair couple weeks ago. Once in a while on my music it will not un-pause but YouTube never un-pauses. I have FW 2C48 and iOS 13.3. May just return these if it's not corrected soon.

Just remembered my work phone hasn't been updated lately. It has iOS 12.4 and it has the same issue.

Is this issue with just a few of us? You would think more would be screaming if the un-pause didn't work on YouTube.

Edited - the un-pause doesn't work on my two iPhones or my wife's iPad nor my iPad Pro. However I have a very old iPad (MC705LL/A) with iOS V9.3.5 and un-pause works!

Weird - I also found sometimes if I pause YouTube and then try to un-pause it my device starts playing my music library even if it wasn't open. Maybe this is a clue to the issue.
